What is Tarot?

The purpose of a tarot consultation is for clarification, guidance and verification on the seeker’s question and life progress. Tarot is a pictorial and symbolic system of the Ageless Wisdom embedded in images, colors, astrological and numerological movement, representing energies and qualities that we cycle through in our lifetime.The cards’ meanings along with their position in the spread make what is unconscious, conscious. Tarot represents a path toward personal growth. This path compliments any other system of personal or spiritual practice. Tarot, representing universal truths, is for everyone, from fe/male to nonbinary alike.

We hold Tarot explorations in a confidential, safe and sacred setting.

About Susy Olson, Tarot Consultant:

Delivering private consultations since 1990. I still get the thrill of information revealed that is more than one is accustomed to knowing. Life-long student of the Ageless Wisdom and the Qabalah.

My approach to the system of tarot is that the art has to have appeal, with appreciation of the author’s philosophy. Clients have a choice of decks to work with based on their initial response to the symbolic art. Clients initial response is most important over the published card’s meaning or the consultant’s commentary.

My practice represents my personal progress along the path of tarot, with 30+ years consulting the cards.

The 2009 U.S. Games' Smith-Waite Tarot Centennial Edition Deck

Working with this classic deck, a collaboration between artist Pamela Colman Smith and author Arthur Edward Waite, is a delight and a pleasure which inspired Susy Olson's Poetry of the Path Tarot Commentary. This deck for many years has been credited as “Waite-Rider” deck, which is the Author/Publisher, and not the artist.
